--- December, 2005 my wife and I took an awesome trip to South America. We spent one week on board the Polaris ship sailing around the Galapagos Islands, making many stops to see the animals. The sea lions and their babies, iguanas, boobies, giant tortoises, penguins and other magnificent birds were simply all around us. I took over 1000 photos sorted out the best for this slide show.
Watch the slide show by clicking here. Then we flew to Lima, Peru, spent a night there, then headed east into the Andees mountains. We visited Cusco (elevation 11,000 ft.), the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Macchu Pichu and many other sites left by the Inca's.
